Google Analytics test – GAIQ Certification

Google Analytics Google Analytics test GAIQ Certification

The company where I recently started working works with massive companies like Yahoo! and Google. Recently I was notified that Google representatives were to be coming to our offices to give us a 1 hour and 30 minute presentation on the Google Analytics Individual Qualification test.

At this point my ears were wide open with joy and happiness as I obviously want to be involved in such a scheme if they are indeed providing such services for free to our company (Google).

I’ll now be studying for this test and I’ll likely be using this blog as a posting ground for my notes to share with colleagues and other individuals taking part.

I hope to score well in this test as Google has said they’d give a Nexus 7 as the prize for the person who scores the highest for this test. While I’m hopeful I’ll do well, I’m not sure if I’ll actually be able to score the highest… but I guess we’ll see about that.

I only really found out about this test today and it isn’t something that I have done any training for. I’ve used Google Analytics on an off and on basis for the websites that I’ve been running.

Rather, I have been using Google Analytics on more of a passive sense than anything else and purely to see how many unique visitors my sites have been getting. I haven’t really touched into some of the cool features that comes with it all or any of the administration stuff, so I still need to sit down and go through everything that it has to offer.

I’m hopeful that I’ll do pretty well in this test as this is the stuff that interests me the most.

I first first started creating websites back in 2005. This led me to creating a free web hosting business in 2007, which still exists today. I ventured into creating types of websites such as blogs and forums using Wordpress, vBulletin, Invision Power Board, Drupal and Joomla. I've since worked on some of the leading brands in the UK finance sector, in the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) field, and now work for MoneySuperMarket, the #1 price comparison website in the UK. Social: Google+ and Twitter.
